Catalyst Project Consulting was engaged by our client to assist in the delivery of a new tourist and visitor destination to the Hunter Valley. The project includes the delivery of several high-end “glamping” tents, two visitor cottages, a high-end function centre, inground pool facility and a full-time caretakers cottage.

The project is located in a reclusive location, high over the Hunter Valley providing a getaway for its visitors.

Catalyst Project Consulting was engaged by our client after the successful development application determination. Catalyst helped to guide the project design to ensure the projects commercial outcomes were achieved. Catalyst was also responsible for the administration of a complex tender package which included the co-ordination of four major tender packages to ensure the most cost-effective delivery for this project. The separate work packages included ASP 1, External Civil Works, Head Contractor Package and Hydraulic Package.

Further project specific challenges include the upgrade of a public road, difficult access to site restricting possible construction methodologies, and the steeply sloping site.
