Catalyst Project Consulting were engaged by Hume Community Housing at the start of February 2023 to act as contract superintendent and client representative to manage the upgrade of 403 dwellings in the Hunter Region. With focus on bathrooms, kitchens, window replacement, floor coverings, internal/external painting, and fence replacement, the government funded maintenance program of $4.2M is on target to be completed in 5 months.

Catalyst’s responsibilities included:

• Scope establishment
• Cost management and associated reporting to Hume and LACH respectively
• Contract superintendency across 3 principal contractors.
• Site meetings and progress inspections
• Variation and EOT assessments/management
• WHS Management
• Oversee contractor and tenant interface
• Monthly reporting and reimbursement management through LACH.
• Defects management
