Project Overview

Catalyst Project Consulting was engaged by Mine Super to deliver the reconfiguration of their tenancy at 168 Parry St, Newcastle West.

Works included the removal of an internal feature staircase that linked 3 levels of the building, update to the building lobby and adjacent tenancy, lightweight structural slab infills, and associated fit-out works.

What did we do?

Catalyst Project Management was responsible for managing the entire project from inception to completion. This included determining the optimal delivery pathway, Negotiation with City of Newcastle to utilise the accelerated Development application pathway despite being in a Heritage Conservation Area, Preparation of a Development Application, Development Consent, Construction Certificate, Contractor Expression of interest and selection, Contract preparation and negotiation, Onsite supervision and contract superintendency and Occupation Certificate.

The project was successfully delivered in an exceptionally tight time frame of only 14 weeks from commencement to completion.
