Catalyst Project Consulting was engaged by WesTrac to manage the design finalisation and construction of a 1663kW Solar Photo Voltaic System at their Tomago Head Office.
What did we do?
During a review of the existing design, Catalyst was able to identify multiple design improvements to deliver a substantially more efficient system, as well as identify some technical errors which could have seen the consumption of PV generated power not being fully utilised.
Catalyst Project Consulting also managed the installation process of this solar system on behalf of WesTrac. Catalyst had to pre-empt and mitigate the project specific challenges of delivery, storage, handling and installation of a large quantity of solar panels (over 3,000) within an active manufacturing site whilst ensuring strict compliance with Work Health and Safety requirements.
