Project Overview
Following Development Approval, Catalyst was appointed to help deliver alterations and additions to the Heritage-listed Bellbird Hotel.
Built in 1914 the Hotel captures the grand style of turn-of-the-century Australian country hotels. Key features of the renovation include enclosing and updating the bistro area, updating the existing public bar, kitchen expansion, onsite parking and driveways, Façade repainting, new toilets, relocation of kids pay areas, construction and fit out of new external dining structures, garden bar, relocation of kids play areas and landscaping.
Once completed the Hotel will be the newest “Old” pub in the Hunter Valley.
What did we do?
Catalyst Project Consulting was engaged to provide client-side Project management services to assist in the delivery of the project from the Development Approval stage.
Catalyst assisted in obtaining the Construction Certificate as well as concurrently running a competitive tender which resulted in the appointment of Whitcon under a Construction Management contract.
Catalyst acted as client representative and Superintendent during the construction phase.
