Catalyst Project Consulting has been named in the prestigious 2017 Australian Financial Review (AFR) Fast Starters List, as the 85th fastest growing start-up business in Australia.
Catalyst was established by Kris Leck in 2013 as a client side project management team and with business partner Anthony d’Arcy has to date completed 35 projects ranging from large commercial developments through to mixed-use and residential projects. Currently managing over $600 million in projects, the consultancy also provides tailor-made and cost-effective services that range from specific project elements, such as feasibility studies, through to complex end-to-end project and development management solutions for any size project.
An AFR Fast Starter must have started trading after 1 July 2013, be turning over greater than $500,000 for the 16/17 financial year and must show independent verification of increasing revenue every year. The source of revenue can’t come from one client or customer, government grants or start-up funding, and they must be Australian owned.
Catalyst director, Kris Leck, said that Catalyst was committed to refining our service offering and expanding sector coverage to meet peaks and toughs in the market.
“Our core skills are in project management, and clients benefit from our expertise in actively managing the process, which can be adapted to any industry sector. We go beyond reporting, we use our experience and proven methodologies to guide the best outcome for a project.” Mr Leck said.
“Over 60 years of combined construction experience as builders and developers before specialising in client-side project management gives Catalyst a competitive advantage that clients can benefit from. We can help resolve everyday construction challenges, provide an efficient and independent project reporting service, or create and implement full project recovery solutions if things have gone totally astray.”
“We have been very fortunate to have the continued support of a number of great clients, and enjoy the opportunity to adapt our services to exceed our client’s varied expectations.” he said.
Catalyst specialises in project management, development management, town planning, feasibility studies, due diligence and construction consulting. It is located at the marina in Newcastle (5/91 Hannell St Wickham) and currently has a core team of seven people.
